Professor of Industrial Microbiology, Hygiene and Environment at the Faculty of Pharmacology of Toulouse (Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III)
Christine Roques is Professor of Industrial Microbiology, Hygiene and Environment at the Faculty of Pharmacology of Toulouse (Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III) and researcher at the Laboratory of Bacteriology and Hygiene of the Federal Institute of Biology at the Purpan University Hospital in Toulouse.
Since 2021 she has been President of the International Technical Committee for Antimicrobial Surfaces ISO TC330 and from 2018 to 2020 she chaired AFNOR’s (French Organization for Standards) Committee on Antimicrobial Surfaces (S95S).
Her research focuses on bacterial adhesion, biofilm formation and the regulation of ecosystems. In particular, she deals with hospital hygiene and safety and the quality management of the Bacteriology and Hygiene Department.
Christine Roques holds a diploma in pharmacology and a PhD in microbiology. She has published more than 150 scientific studies.
