Maria Antonietta Esposito is Professor of Architectural Technology and Associate at the Institute of Architecture at the University of Florence. She specializes in the development of methodologies for sustainable projects and focuses in particular on airport design.

 

Prof. Esposito aims to combine the development of architecture with the need to adapt the construction industry to social, political and economic changes. Against this background, she has increasingly integrated the Building Information Modeling (BIM) design approach to construct efficient and ecological buildings and introduced the life cycle assessment. She mainly deals with Green Airport Design, a specialty for which she has received several awards and distinctions.

She is currently a member of the Italian Society for Architectural Technology, the Italian Society for Architectural Technology, the Italian Cultural Association for Quality in Construction and speaks at national and international conferences.
